152MBTraditionally an area of farmland, the Palm Springs Speedway was constructed after the devastating Hurricane Howston in 2006. Reconfigured multiple times, the circuit now offers a challenging 1.5-mile oval and two infield roadcourses.
This release has one oval layout and two roadcourses.Speedway – 1.5 mile oval
Far different to the regular ‘cookie cutter’ 1.5-mile ovals, Palm Springs is a true oval shape that often provides multiple racing grooves.
Roadcourse A – 2.18 mile roadcourse
This flat but challenging roadcourse only uses the front straight/pit area of the oval as well as the backstraight. The blend of slow to medium speed turns makes for a challenging race.
Roadcourse B – 2.27 mile roadcourse
This flat but challenging roadcourse departs the oval into turn 1, then uses the infield for a flat and challenging diversion until it exits back onto the oval out of turn 2; It then uses the rest of the oval, including turns 3 and 4.
